Sponsor rules

Short version: sponsors pay for a labeled spot. That's all they get.

• One labeled spot per page. It always says “Sponsor”. It's never inside or next to a comparison table.
• Sponsors can't buy rank. Tools are listed A to Z, always.
• Sponsors can't change facts, see pages before we publish them, or remove bug reports.
• If a company sponsors us, its tool page says so. That doesn't change what the page says.
• No appraisal management companies (AMCs) or lenders as sponsors for now, because we report on fees.
• We list facts with sources only, and give no appraisal or value opinions.
